Memtest86, but I would personally just check if everything is ok at default speeds without testing. If it isn't working, then just reinstall windows and then if that fails, begin testing with memtest..

Hi there,

Recently my PC has been shutting down randomly, no warning or anything, just power off and black screen on my monitor. It happens at least once a week, if not a lot more. In the event viewer it is Event 41 Kernel-Power. What could be causing this? Any help is appreciated because it is very annoying, especially while I am gaming.

Edit: I have tried disabling PBO and underclocking my GPU, neither of those have helped.

Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");

Try disabling all overclock and XMP/DOCP in BIOS and run RAM on auto. It's either an issue in windows, ram or PSU. I recently got this, and it was bad RAM. I've also experienced the same error and reinstalling windows solved the issue. I would start testing memory at default speeds aka auto to see if it helps. After that, backup your stuff and reinstall windows from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 using media creation tool, if win 11 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

I have ran memory diagnostics at DOCP speeds, and it passed with no issues. Shall I still try and run it non-overlocked anyway?

Okay, thank you. I also see you have the B550 v2 from gigabyte, is it good? Its the one I’m thinking of upgrading to.

Hey again, I have ran memtest and it was flawless, no errors. Is there any way to test a PSU? I have over 2tb of games that I really do not want to reinstall, so I do not want to reinstall windows for nothing.
