The actual issue-- When my PC wakes from sleep, and would normally show the Windows lockscreen or my desktop I instead am greeted with a black screen.

Important details.
I am running off of two displays. An Acer Predator X34P and an LG OLED65C9P. This behavior occurs only when the TV is connected and ONLY while the TV is powered off. Turning on the TV, or unplugging the HDMI cable from my video card will both cause the wake to happen normally. It happens both waking while locked and unlocked.

I'm not sure how to resolve this, because I've never run into similar behavior with any additional monitors. I don't really want to constantly plug/unplug in the HDMI cable; and don't really want to turn on the TV every time I want to use my computer. I'm not sure if it is an Nvidia driver issue, a Windows issue, or an inherent flaw in using a TV as a monitor (if it is, I've never encountered anyone else talking about it)

Anyone have any indication of how I might get it to NOT do that?
