My pc won't boot into windows, it's just stuck on the boot screen. For the last few days when I've shut it down it has taken like 10 minnafter I hit the "shut down" button in windows and last night imy monitors turned off, they acted like no signal was coming from the pc, but all the fans were still running for like 10 min after that and then it finally shut down, today it ain't moving further from the boot screen.

I've done a cmos reset, but that didn't do anything. I don't think it could be my boot drive, it's a 3 month old m.2

Thanks in advance!

This could be a faulty motherboard or psu because i also had this problem before but at an even worse scale

I had a similar issue before and replaced my mb then, so I don't think that it's that, but yeah my psu could be it

  • How old is your windows install, ive been having some issues with windows installs recently. I would also point fingers at your ssd, could you list its model to see if it might have manufacturing defects. If you have a 980 pro then it aint gonna be great news.

I did a new windows install, when I bought my SSD, so in January 2023. The SSD I'm currently using as my main drive is the "XPG GAMMIX S50 Lite".

And in windows it isnt dying? hows it like once its actually done loading?

Also check your BIOS boot settings and make sure fast boot is on and anything else weird is off.
