I have a GIGABYTE motherboard and I have turned off fast boot and secure boot but when I boot the Linux install it gives me "Error: out of memory." I want to dual boot my windows install with linux mint.

balenaEtcher is the recommended method to write the iso to the USB.

If you see the problem again after using balenaEtcher, you can try mageia which is as suitable for beginners as Mint
