As i was upgrading this was not feasible as i would have to remove perfectly fine 2x8 and then get 4x8 kit. Also both kit are exactly same not just freq and timing it is exact same kit. I just re ordered it from purchase history and same model number. Also when using as just 2x8 using 1 stick from both kit in slot A2 B2 in dual channel there is no issue. Only when populating A1 B1 facing issue. Also even withe the mem error i am not getting regular bsod error though it is not rock solid stable.just dont know what to do cannot return the sticks and selling them is not feasible/difficult where i live. How much would i loose going from 3600 to 3200.

Not much performance would ve lost. Typically going 4 sticks even increases performance a little bit

I had built a system with 2x8GB 3600 kit from xpg (adata) last year. And have purchased the exact same kit to upgrade to 32 GB of ram. Issue is at xmp 3600 profile memtest gives errors in test 8 (random number sequence) also windows mem diagnostic, but resetting bios and setting all 4 stick to xmp profile 3200MT with tighter timing works and any thing below 3200MT

Also ram work properly at 3600MT xmp even when old kit stick with new kit stick used as 2x8GB in slot A2 and B2. And for same system dosent boot when using A1 and B1 slot at 2x8GB config if 3600MT xmp is set. I know there are signal reflection issue when using A1 B1. But all 4 populated also dosent work at rated xmp 3600MT

Forgot to mention spec

RAM: Adata AX4U36008G18I-DT60 XPG Spectrix D60G Series 16GB (8GBX2) DDR4 3600MHz (both kit same)

CPU: r5 5600x

GPU: 6800xt

MB: asrock b550m phantom gaming 4 ac; BIOS L2.62

CPU over clocked by 200Mhz positive and no curve optimizer

Get no error when removing CPU oc some times but majorly getting error with out cpu OC.

More things to note memtest86 testing while using only 1 core there is no error only getting error when using all core. Also windows not crashing very frequently thow system freeze occasionally.

Typical for a 4x8 config. The more sticks you add the hardee it is for the memory controller. Hence why if you buy a 4x8 kit itll be fine normallt as those were tuned to work togheter
