Budget (including currency):

Country: Hungary

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (God of war, FFVII remake, Tomb Raider, Future Final Fantasy titles)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I'm doing a system upgrade for my GF. She already has a AMD 6750 XT GPU but the CPU got left behind last time (i3 8th gen I think). The main gaming display is a 4k TV but 2K resolution is enought (there are 2 otehr monitors for FPS games and occasional programming)

I'm looking to buy a PSU for the new PC setup. It will have a AMD 6750 XT (it needs 2x8pin PCIe connectors) and a AMD 7600X
The two options I came up with are:
BE QUIET! Straight Power 11 Gold 550W
Local shop for price: Shop

BE QUIET! Pure Power 12 M 650W
Local shop for price: Shop

but the Pure Power 12 only has a split PCIe connector that is not the new ``12vhpwr`` so I wonder how big of a problem it is if I use the split cable

6750 xt defo doesn't need 12vhpwr connector (thats only for the 40 series currently). Its a better bet for you to go with a 650watt or even a 750 watt psu if you can, never underspend on your psu, as a wise man by the name of linus sebastian once said in one of his many live streams

Always look at the GPU designer's minimum recommendation to start with. In this case, it's 650W. Now to find the best 650W or over PSU, a good resource that many use is the Tier List found over at the Cultists Network. Basically, Tier A will be the best and Tier B good for budget, midrange builds. You can sometimes find really great deals online on Tier A PSU's.
