Hey friends,

I'm only used to building gaming rigs, and they are able to handle the workloads that would be thrown at them. But i need help selecting a system specificaly for rendering and programming.

Budget would be +/- 1100€

I'm open to suggestions :)

AMD has an advantage here, not much but still ahead nonetheless.

As for your budget: you may be able to get a used Threadripper system, which would be a good choice for a workstation. Alternatively, the Ryzen 9 7900X (AM5) on a X670 mainboard with 2x32GB RAM and a decent 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe drive is a good start. Case, cooling and peripherals to suit your taste.

You absolutely want to have a GPU acceleration down the bat on Blender but honestly that would be a great one if OP isnt tight on active cash flow and can quickly spare cash for an RTX 3050.
