Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  ($99.00 @ CPL Online) <-- I usually recommend 1600Mhz RAM, but the jump to 1866Mhz was only $4 more, for such a low price hike, it is worth it.

Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card  ($329.00 @ PCCaseGear) <-- Excellent video card for 1080p gaming, on-par with GTX 770.

Case: Cooler Master K280 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($52.00 @ PCCaseGear)

Power Supply: Enermax 550W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($59.00 @ CPL Online) <-- Good PSU made by the same manufacturer that makes the ever popular Corsair PSUs.

Only thing that really needs to be added is an SSD and aftermarket CPU cooler for less noise and increased performance.

Here is a good build if you aren't doing heavily cpu intensive tasks. In normal web browsing/most games, better single thread performance is more relevant. The fx 6300 is slightly ovverated for gaming. This is more balanced
