Low Cpu clock speed on csgo

High everybody,

 

my cpu downclock itself at 2.5 to 3.5 ghz on csgo, and I want the cpu to go up to at least 4.4ghz. PBO is on, and I don't know how to have a stable 4.4ghz on csgo. I let the motherboard overclock the cpu because I don't want to break anything. I did manage to have higher clock speed before, but since I'm in windows 11, it seems to do that.

 

the setup:

ryzen 7 5700x

32gb of ram 3600mhz cl18

rx 5700 xt (wich stack between 60-85% of utilisation in the game)

asus b550 gaming motherboard wifi-II

cooler: Hyper 212 with a 2400rpm corsair fan on it

Cpu temp at full load: 70°C, so I know it's not the temperature

Csgo is not exactly cpu intensive. If it doesn’t make sense for your CPU to run at full tilt, then it dials it back. Which is perfectly normal. However, for some reason you want to have your clock speed higher, disable C states in bios, disable PBO and manually overclock.

alright, I thought it wasn't normal that my cpu didn't clock itself higher to have more load on a single core than on the 4 cores that it use in game
