Hackintoshing question

Go to solution Solved by TheNinjaNextDor,

Oh that thread, i almost forgot  :D

So does Multibeast allow me to switch freely between Windows and OS X or will I have to use a different install method and get Clover? If I can I will be installing OS X first.

I think Multibeast has some issues with UEFI BIOSs, the way you switch (if it works) is you set the OS X drive as primary and Multibeast lets you choose what to boot into. The Clover guide on Tonymac will take care of you for that.

If you want to not use Clover, to switch you'll need to set your primary drive in the BIOS then restart and it will boot into OS X or Windows depending on which one you choose.

Sorry if I've got everything wrong, I'm a total noob at this. When installing Mavericks following this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html, can I install OS X first with only a 128GB SSD connected, then when I'm finished all the post-setup stuff and Chameleon is functional, connect my HDD and install Windows 8.1 on there? Or do I have to follow a dual boot guide?

I can't seem to find a proper written 8.1 + Mavericks dualboot guide anywhere. This will probably be my build, minus the SSD: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3Goko

Will I be installing OS X on HD 4600 alone?
