i have two sticks of the exact same model of RAM sticks purchased seperately at different times. not i deal i know, but the system posted after i added the second stick in. but either the RAM speed or the RAM speed displayed by the system is weird. the RAMs are 3200mhz but on bios, cmd window and task manager, the RAMs are both displayed as 2133mhz. i disabled then enabled xmp a few times to make sure OC is correctly applied. but the displayed speed is still 2133mhz.

google would tell me that system only displays general module info and never reads OC speed. is that true?

also in a previous thread i made about RAM upgrades, a member of ltt forum recommended me to reset cmos. i haven't done that because it would literally require me to redo cpu cooling and the entire cable management inside my case (my motherboard doesn't have cmos reset button. i will have to remove the battery sitting deep underneath EVERYTHING inside my case). so i'm looking for some suggestions on what else i can check.

system info:

RAM: g.skill f4-3200c16s-16gis x 2

Mobo: asus prime b560m-k

CPU: i5-11500
