So I think with running a CPU and 2 GPU blocks, I should run 480MM of radiators.  How is this?  I Would intake in the bottom 120MM but I agree with my dad that we don't want hot air going into the case and I am gonna use SP120 silent fans so It won't move a TON of air.

1 pump will easily be enough. Use a Laing D5 or DDC 18W pump and it will be fine. Many people underestimate the power of these pumps.

Do not buy kits. There are various reasons for this. I should start off by saying there is nothing bad with a kit. It will work properly and would will have a loop by the end of it. However, in kits the parts you get are typically low-end. I would never recommend a non-laing pump for a loop. Laing pumps are known for being quiet and reliable working for years without any issues. This is just an example. Kits tend to have lower quality everything. Secondly when buying a kit you will not be able to prioritise what you want in a loop. Maybe you are focusing on performance, maybe on looks? A kit will not give you this choice.

 

Most importantly a kit will not let you learn. Believe me when I say water cooling is a big investment, not only of money but also of time. If you feel that taking your time to look up components and make a parts list and doing research is something you would rather not do then you will be in for a shock later on. If you ever have a problem with your loop you will be much better placed after you have done your research and after selecting your own parts.

 

Therefore I advise you to go to the two stickys HERE and HERE and spend time reading about watercooling, then make a parts list and draw a diagram of what your loop is going to be, then ask us to review your parts and let you know what we think of the parts you have chosen.

I've read those but I went back again.  How do you feel about the swiftech pump/block combo? Could it power say 2 GPU blocks with 2 radiators? Res>block/pump>120MM Rad>Gpu1/2>240MM rad>bay res.

pcpartpicker is not ideal for looks. I always ask people to get a 2d side on shot of their case and use paint to draw in their loop.

Res at the very top 5.25 bay.  Run down to the CPU/block, then to the 120MM rad where the exhaust is, down to the 2 GPU's, up to the 240MM radiator up top, then back over to the res.  Res will be several inches higher than the pump in elevation.

Sadly I do not have a catalogue of side shots of every case in my head. :(

 

An illustration would take you two mins. And because your water-cooling parts are mixed in with your normal parts its hard to help you. Bullet point list is much cleaner.

Your first issue is I think you want to: waterblock -> rad -> waterblock -> rad There is no need to do this. Go for shorter runs where you can. Believe me when I tell you it makes no difference.

It does. I didn't notice you were using a CPU block and pump combo. My advise is don't. Just get a standard laing pump and a standard block. It will work much better.

Using a combo does not remove a point of failure. It just makes it harder to diagnose failures. You can try to find a pump and block for $150. Grab a Laing DDC pump and find a waterblock you like. You can also get a res and pump combo because they are actually good.

Get a laing pump. If you want good reliability laing pumps are the way to go. If you cheap out on a pump and it fails you could damage every component cooled by your loop.

None of the pumps I look at give me ANY description of what they are.  Can you find me a laing pump/res combo?

Only I only recommend Laing pumps because they are so reliable, quiet and powerful. So if you don't think a Laing pump is reasonably priced I don't know.

Use what linus uses, the swiftech mcp655

Just turn it all the way down and it is completely quiet and powerful. I use it myself and the only downside I would say there is to it is that it's pretty big. Just make sure you get the one I linked and not the mcp655-b which does not have adjustable speed.
