Help with RGB

I recently installed the coolermaster masterliquid ml240l rgb v2 and it came with what I believe is a small RGB hub, which I plugged into the header on the motherboard (asus b660m plus wifi d4) and I have went into the RGB software that I am using (signal RGB) and the lights aren't changing. I have attempted to download coolermaster's masterplus software but windows defender detected a virus on it so I didn't want to risk it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Coolermaster's masterplus software also seems to have a virus whenever I download it so I'm not taking the risk.

The software from coolermaster (if you got it directly from the coolermaster website) probable does not have a virus and its just a false flag because of the behavior of the software
