so my plan rn is to get a keychron k10 pro in the rgb version with red switches

https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-k10-pro-qmk-via-wireless-mechanical-keyboard?variant=40398046199897

then i will swap out the switches with kailh box jades whever they are in stock in the 110 count set

keycaps i will prob get cherry profile pbt either https://www.keychron.com/collections/cherry-profile-double-shot-pbt-keycaps/products/double-shot-pbt-cherry-full-set-keycap-set-royal or thttps://www.keychron.com/collections/cherry-profile-double-shot-pbt-keycaps/products/double-shot-pbt-cherry-full-set-keycap-set-royal

the reason i am getting the full keyboard instead of barebone is because i think i like the osa keycaps, i like the reds, and this would be my first mechanical keyboard

i am getting the k10 pro because keychron seems to be one of the most recommended budget custom board companies and i want the wireless fullsize option.

you dont need an aio for anything but i9 cpus or heavy oc jobs just get an nh-d15 or peerless assassin

Never and i mean NEVER buy exact count in buying switches. Always have 5-10 spares in the case of manufacturing defects. Its cool that you take interest in Box Jade but i have to warn you that its loud infamy is really real. You better have a really good noise suppression in your VoIP client of choice. Also, you definitely wanna rebuild the stabilizer. Alexotos made a pretty good guide on it but he misses the more invasive snip mod and holee mod. They are kind of PITA so carry a small tweezer, and big patience.

But beyond that, i highly recommend you looking at other keycap sets outside of Keychron. Its not about quality, its about not limit yourself on it, KeebFinder has a really good tool in finding mass-produced keycaps (read: not under an ongoing group buy or interest checks) that you can buy in colorways you want.

wont i have a few spares? the k10 pro is 108 keys so i would have 2 extra and to answer your noise stuff im prob gonna keep a heavy linear/tactile on wasd. probably akko lavenders or gateron yellows. for the keycaps, i just really like the way the two sets i linked look but if i find gmk blue samurai for cheap then i would consider lmao

holee mod is awful, but clipping stabs can be a good idea if they require it.

Its awful to do but on dead stock stabs with poor tolerance i do it and it helps a lot with ticking reduction. But yeah, its a bandaid on open wound, best thing to do is buy a stabilizer with good tolerance in the first place.

I really dont recommend mixed setup on a keyboard like that ever, because its genuinely ass to type with completely different profile. Its a really bad solution to a problem that you couldve solved by picking quieter switch. If youre going mixed, go with an entire subset, not mixed in 1 subset.

it also makes stabs mushy, it’s a crutch that ppl use instead of properly tuning stabs/buying decent ones and tuning them

Eh depends on the thickness. I REALLY do notice it on thick bandages, i found Beiersdorf Hansaplast to be the best pick on this, which is great because it is one of the most common bandages in Indonesia.
