Ram not available

I have 16GB ram on my pc. But only 7gb is available. What is going on?

You have programs and Windows using 8.5GB. The available memory statistic is the memory not being used by other programs.

So like rust needs atlest 10gb to work. Is it any way to free up some ram. Or is rust included in the ran being used by programs

Is Rust running? If it is, then it's included in the used space. Otherwise you need to close some background programs to free up more RAM.

When trying to join a server it crashes. I once got a error message that said "memory not written"

I don't play Rust and am not 100% sure how to deal with that error. If I were to guess, I would verify game files then if that doesn't work close out some background programs (make sure Chrome, Discord, RGB software, etc.) and see if that does anything.
