Screen laminate on android phones replaceable?

Hi, I noticed that on many android phones theres what looks like to be a laminate or hard-film/cover over the screen aside from the flimsy plastic peel you are supposed to remove. I was wondering if you are able to remove it or replace it with a new one since my Poco F4 has a rather noticeable scratch from when I dropped it. The screen seems fine though, no cracks, just what appears to be a scratch on this outer layer.

 

Edit: Forgot to mention that it isnt the screen protector, according to the manufacturer, it doesnt come with one.

There is no such thing on glass covered devices. There is LCD panel and there is touch panel, which consists of glass and a digitizer layer below the glass.

What it CAN be however, is an out of the box screen protector that many phones have these days (and it seems the Poco F4 comes with one). I believe the Oneplus Nord 2 I had came pre-installed with one of those. It's a thin plastic film that prevents some scratches, but won't do a very good job of preventing anything worse.

Ah right, I forgot to mention that I wasnt sure if it was an included phone protector. Since according to some reviews the phone doesnt come with one, other user reviews say that it does but you have to apply it yourself and other say its pre applied. But I it looks like theres a clear border about a millimeter or two from where the screen actually touches the case and what appears to be a punch out for the front facing camera. Could this be a pre applied screen protector then?

Would I be able to take it off and replace it with an aftermarket one without harming the display?
