I want to buy the newest dark power 13 750wat with a 4070 Ti but on the manual of the said power supply I found this "Connect the power supply directly with a power source. Don't use a outlet power strip." , so can I use a power strip, this is so weird to me, also I live in Eu and the power supply is rated as 100-240V, can I use a 250V power strip, this is all stuff that I don't understand and I am forced to use a power strip because the power outlet is very far from my pc,

Thank You in advance and all help is greatly appreciated.

Why could you NOT use a power strip? I've only ever used those, since I have 1 outlet for PC, monitor, speakers. A power strip will just pass through the power from 1 outlet to multiple. Most of them have a circuit breaker that if you put too much power through it, it will break to protect your devices. I've only ever had 1 trip, but that was a very old one as well, none of my devices got fried.

I live in EU as well.

Using the strip won't hurt in your case as it's a low wattage unit, they most likely print that warning for every PSU, my manual has it as well. The reason behind it is the manufacturer doesn't know if the extension cords or strips you have are good enough to deal with all the current the PSU needs, or what else is plugged into that strip.

In most cases everything's fine but if you have multiple high wattage units all on the same strip that might cause issues.

Unless it's a mega sketchy strip with wires that are thin as a hair there shouldn't be any problems with it.

appreciate the help
