First time posting here, hopefully this how you do it. Basically I've put together my pc (i7 13700k, asus z790-a WiFi, rtx 3070, 1x32gb ram(bought 1x32 instead of 2x16, should still boot though), a wd blue m.2 and a gigabyte ud750gm), and after pushing the power button, the psu clicks once, aaand nothing. The rbg on the mobo works, incase that makes a difference. I've tried using different pcie/cpu holes on the psu, no difference. Even incase the mb was shorting with something in the case, I removed it, and it still clicked, and did nothing. I heavily doubt it's a motherboard failure, but im running out of options. Could it maybe be a short somewhere? I even popped out the cpu and all the pins look fine. I'm lost, I'm gonna take it to a repair shop, unless there is a easy fix to this.

Try testing your PSU with the paperclip trick. Does it turn on ?

Do you have all the front panel connectors wired up correctly?

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

Take everything I say with a grain of salt. I could be just about wrong as I am right.

I followed corsair's tutorial, the fan spun for half a second, and it made that click noise when I shorted the pins even when it was switched off..

What light comes up on the motherboard? Going by the manual, that board seems to have Q-LED which might point you in a particular direction

CPU=Red
DRAM=Yellow
VGA=White
Boot=Yellow green

Q-LED.jpg

I press the power switch and the psu just clicks, the light/s simply don't turn on

Sounds like trying either a spare or a friends PSU if possible may be in order, to confirm if it's the issue.

I don't have friends with computers powerful enough to use 2 8pin cpu and 1 6pin and 1 8pin pcie connector, and the one friend who might have it lives in a different village. :/. I think pc shop is my only option tbf
