then why is their an option for it?

C2dan88 is correct. You cannot downgrade your version of Windows, only upgrade it.

If you don't believe him or me, then simply go ahead and try it.

Let us know.

The option is there, because the other one is to create a USB media drive with Windows on it for the or another system (typically, another one)

Usually, people don't downgrade their version of Windows.

don't get me wrong its not that I belive you or not it was just that since the option was their why not use it. thank you for telling me what the option does as I found it confusing. I miss featureas like putting files on the taskbar and file exploer history just to name a few, overall windows 11 makes my life less productive.

You could never pin files on Windows taskbar. Not without tricks (and to my knowledge the same tricks continues to work under Windows 11)

The Start Menu shows you files you recently interacted with under the "Recommended" section, so it allows you to jump to where you left off quickly. No need to dig through folders.

File Explorer was unchanged from Windows 10 in that regard, and you can customize the File Explorer 'startup page' (if you want to call it that). You can have it show your Drives, like Windows of old. "Home" The default, or your OneDrive. Whichever you prefer.
