Windows 11 Auto login

Bbbbbobby

I have installed Windows 11 on my desktop but I want it to auto login. I know there's a way to do this with a fresh install with a local account, but I don't want to re install Windows and everything I have. Is there a way after installation to do this?

There's a place in the registry for you to enter a default login user/password. Should still work in Win11

Configure Windows to automate logon - Windows Server | Microsoft Learn

It says server, but I've used this to configure both server and win10 pro.

Disable Windows Hello first

https://pureinfotech.com/remove-pin-grayed-out-windows-11/

After that, run netplwiz and you can uncheck the "require username and password for logon"

Use Netplwiz to Enable/Disable Auto Login on Windows 10/11
