How to add an audio source/output?

ToasterBoogaloo

I have my mic (Boya BM1) and my headphone (SR850) and plug it in with a Y splitter to my laptop, it works in audacity but when I want to use it in Discord it doesn't show and doesn't work, is there any way to separate them as different sources? or maybe any way to make them work? Thanks!

Does Audacity recognize your mic and headphones as distinct devices?

Have you tried to set your mic and headphones as default devices (i.e. Default Device, Default Communication Device) and then telling Discord to use defaults?

Finally, is your Y splitter a TRS or TRRS? A TRS won't work to split input and output, while a TRRS will.

No the audacity didn't recognize them as distinct device, the headphone and mic shows up as realtek headphone and realtek mic

I have tried default and it still doesn't work

It has 2 rings so Im pretty sure it's a TRRS
