new pc won't post

so was building my new pc, i put everything on the box out side the case to see if everything worked and after plugging evey thing in pressign the power buttin the fan started to spin and the post ligths started to flicker a the cpu yellow then after a five seconds it turned red then the whole thing turned off. now wont even spin the fan when the buttion is pressed. now after re-pluging everything, receading the cpu and the ram nothing will still happen, not even a light will turn onIMG_6007.HEIC

My guess is that the cables aren't plugged in all the way.

no, i checked that. i just did a check to see if the power suppy even works and i think thats it after shorting the pins and nothing happaning so im just gonna return them and get a new power supply
