I'm looking at building a budget pc for my son's birthday. I could use some advice on the case as the one I was looking at now won't make it to me before his birthday. Any other critiques or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think if you replaced that case with the Zalman S2, that would be a good alternative. I HIGHLY recommend getting a different SSD for not only performance, but also storage. Looks like there's a pretty decent deal on an 870 evo at the moment. Here's your list with those adjustments. It brings it JUST to the very top of your budget cap:
