After no more than a few months of using my new prebuilt (non linus built), it started stuttering and closing applications randomly in addition to getting stuck on key inputs. I practice internet safety (obviously) and have scanned the system for issues/viruses. The only issues that were found were some outdated audio drivers, but I have since updated them and nothing has been fixed. If any of you have any ideas, I would be glad to answer any questions.

Edit: Build is from Best Buy at this link: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypower-tracemr-gaming-desktop-intel-i7-12700f-16gb-ddr4-3200-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-1tb-nvme-ssd-black/6500558.p?skuId=6500558

Hello, welcome to the forums.

If you could please list the full specs of the system, if you do not know them then the make and model of the prebuilt may help us.

What program are you using for Virus scanning/protection?

Are you using a driver update program?

1. I am using the standard Windows 11 security program.

2. I use the Intel driver update program.

Windows Defender is great but it doesn't find everything, install the free version of Malwarebytes and run a scan with that too.

The intel drive support assistant will only get intel drivers, if you have a consumer motherboard and GPU, i.e. MSI, Asus, or Gigabyte, you will need to manually install drivers for them and your other devices as well using the drivers found on their respective manufacturer webpages.
