Is 1200 watt psu enough to deliver power to the Rx 6950 xt, 7950x, 2tb m.2 nvme, 10 fans, 32 gigs ram, and my atx mobo? (Along with a kraken z73 non rgb) even if I want to heavily over click my cpu and gpu?

Absolutely.  1200w will be more than enough 🙂 A quality 1000w would do just fine as well.

Thats definetely enough. but, incase you want a more safer things going around your psu and other essential parts, probbably get a lil higher psu, that would do better.

What does this mean?  Are you telling him to get more than 1200w?

You don't overclock the 7950x, you undervolt it.  It will actually perform better using less power.  My 7700xwent from 140w to less than 90w under synthetic load for example.

How can you say that he needs more than 1200w?  His total system usage would be around 650w at max load..

Wow, really? That’s good to know, and a little strange. I’ve never heard of underclocking for better performance, only worse.

May I ask how underclocking improves performance, and how to do it? Never done an underclock

Also, if you're just gaming and regular tasks, look at the 7700x too.  The 7950x is a beast, you may not need all that.  No idea though.

Here is a good start to PBO and undervolting.  There are other vides as well, but this is where I started (well, the 7700x video from him).
