Hey all

Iam building the first pc by myself.

Iam using the folowing main parts in termin of airflow.

Hyte Y40

AIO Asus Ryou III 360

Asus 4090

So i have 3 fanslots left 1x 120mm and 2x 140mm.

I ordered 2 x Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap and 1x Noctua NF-A12 PWM chromax.black.swap

Far as i know is the Hyte y40 not the king in airflow.

And iam not sure if there is a difference in pressure and airflow fans... Is there? And when yes what kind are those Noctua?

Did i made the right choice with those fans or not?

Ty in advance for helping me out.

That will do just fine.  Put the AIO Asus Ryou III 360 on top ( That's the only place for a 360mm AIO in the Hyte y40 ) and have the two  Noctua NF-A14 in front.  The case already comes with 2 fans, one in the rear and one at the bottom.  This will be more than enough airflow.  Pressure fans are optimized for radiators because they have to push / pull air through something.  Airflow fans are designed purely for airflow, they will work on radiators but not optimal.   If you have any more questions, please ask 🙂

so iam using the 2 140mm to get air into the case and the 120mm on the back, to get it out rigt?

Yes, and the radiator on top will help exhaust air as well out the top.  With the 2 noctua fans in front and the one case fan at the bottom this should give you slight positive pressure ( You want this ) in the case.  This will be more than enough air.  You can have a lot of airflow in but you also want to get it out, you want to replace the air inside the case as fast as possible.  Maybe this picture help you.
