I have a k95 platinum and have a few Keys that double type sometimes, it is most annoying with the V key when I go to past something. I Have already turned the pulling rate down to 500 and it seems to have helped, but it is still doing it occasionally. My next thought was to buy some Machine oil and put 2 drops into each switch when the switch is depressed and then work the oil in to try to lube the switches without disassembling them. This is the Oil I was looking at
Osma Best Choice 60433 Precision Engineering Oil 100ml : Amazon.com.be: Everything Else

and since I trust the LTT community the most on decisions like this I thought I would post here and get some feedback before I move forward with the Idea.

Or see if anyone else has any other Ideas.

i would get some Krytox g205 G0 it worked perfectly with my old keyboard.since it is off and on it might be the keyswitch needs to be reseated. the pins might not be making contact correctly.

Using krytox would require me to de solder and open up all the switches, 1 I havn`t soldered in over 20 years and I was never very good at it, and 2 I would have to buy a soldering station and switch tools, I was asking if the Machine Oil can be used. I have seen videos about spraying the switches but that seems to be a bad Idea in my opinion because Oil can be conductive, and spraying my entire keybord just seems like a mess waiting to happen, that why I was asking abot 2 drops of machine oil in each Individual Switch.
