I changed around a bit, 500gb would not be enough for storage. I removed the m.2 ssd and put in a 120gb sata drive for windows and some apps (or a small game). I also added a 2tb HDD for mass storage. I changed out the case for a cheaper one, this one comes with fans and decent airflow. Changed the GPU to a 6600 which is close to (or more than) double the performance of the other card. Should be a decent 1080p card. I changed the PSU to a 400w one, you dont need a 500w PSU, your system should only need around 300W of power, you will have enough room to do some light overclocks too.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Don't get a 6500xt, especially not with a 10400.  Just don't get either of them, you can do a lot better for your money.

Sorry to do this, but I changed pretty much everything.  This is by far the best system you're gonna get for your money.  For $600, this will get you playing everythihng at ultra 1080p (most games would run pretty well at 1440p as well):

  • Hyperthreaded hexacore
  • Wifi / Blueooth motherboard
  • 1TB Gen 3 SSD with a DRAM cache
  • Good enough PSU
  • Very fast GPU for the money (most important for gaming) WAY faster than that 6500xt, which is not a good GPU to be using on a non PCIe 4.0 platofrm like the one you chose, or at all really.

For $600:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($98.00 @ B&H)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Neo Forza FAYE 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory  ($34.99 @ Newegg Sellers)
Storage: Intel 670p 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($49.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: MSI MECH 2X OC Radeon RX 6650 XT 8 GB Video Card  ($249.99 @ Newegg)
Case: DIYPC F2 MicroATX Mini Tower Case  ($46.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: BitFenix Formula Bronze 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($44.90 @ Newegg Sellers)
Total: $604.85
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

For $650 you could get a better CPU that would probably handle MSFS better with it having double the L3 cache:

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 3.5 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($139.79 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Neo Forza FAYE 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory  ($34.99 @ Newegg Sellers)
Storage: Intel 670p 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($49.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: MSI MECH 2X OC Radeon RX 6650 XT 8 GB Video Card  ($249.99 @ Newegg)
Case: DIYPC F2 MicroATX Mini Tower Case  ($46.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: BitFenix Formula Bronze 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($44.90 @ Newegg Sellers)
Total: $646.64
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

If you don't like the case, you can get something else.  That was just the cheapest one that included fans and had some airflow.

I've actually used that case to build a PC for my dad, and it was nice to work in and actually looked pretty nice when it was done, but any of these would also be good while costing a little more:

Cougar MX330-G Air ATX Mid Tower Case (MX330-G Air) - PCPartPicker

Zalman S2 ATX Mid Tower Case (S2) - PCPartPicker (acrylic)

Zalman S2 ATX Mid Tower Case (S2 TG) - PCPartPicker (glass)

BitFenix Nova Mesh SE ATX Mid Tower Case (BFC-NSE-300-KKGSK-4A) - PCPartPicker

DIYPC Rainbow-Flash-F4 ATX Mid Tower Case (Rainbow-Flash-F4-B) - PCPartPicker

On this case you'd need to move the intake fans to the inside of the front panel as they are currently installed on the outside which restricts airflow but it would have good airflow if you did that.

Thermaltake V150 Tempered Glass ARGB Breeze MicroATX Mid Tower Case (CA-1R1-00S1WN-02) - PCPartPicker

These cases are also pretty good but don;t include an exhaust fan, so add $5 for one of those as you'll want one:

MagniumGear Neo Air ATX ATX Mid Tower Case (MG-NE520A_BW01) - PCPartPicker

SAMA Sama-3D ATX Mid Tower Case (Sama-3D) - PCPartPicker

I knoow it's ahrd to find it on PCPP, but the 6650xt is avtually only $15 more than the 6600.  It's buried in the filter because there are more 6600xts out there, but it's cheaper than the 6600xt, and only $15 more than the 6600.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

but why not go for a 550w power supply rather than a 400w because it is the same price and it has black cables and also it is semi modular but other than that thank you for suggesting me with this

Case, sure, the zalman S2 that was $60 includes all the fans and has good airflow.  The $55 one had acrylic but the $60 one has tempered glass.

I think that thermaltake v150 breeze also has tempered glass.

PSU, I mean, black marker if you must, you really never notice it.  That extra 50 watts might be nice if you wanna boost the GPU or CPU.  But either is OK.  The older TT smart units were always dumpster fire-tier but the BM2 is supposed to be a little better.

Actually, this case is pretty similar to the one you originally chose but it has better airflow and has a tempred glass panel.  It includes one intake fan and one exhaust fan so it''s run fine, and you could add more fans later if you wanted to:

BitFenix NOVA MESH SE TG ATX Mid Tower Case (BFC-NSE-300-WWGKW-RP) - PCPartPicker

This one also kinda fits the bill, for $5 more but it comes with 4 fans that are RGB capable:

BitFenix Nova Mesh SE ATX Mid Tower Case (BFC-NSE-300-WWGKW-4A) - PCPartPicker

This one is also $60 and has good airflow, but it does not come with an exhaust fan:

Metallic Gear Neo Air White ATX Mid-tower High Airflow Mesh front design, 2x 120 RGB Skiron fans, RGB Controller, Black/White - Newegg.com

(the fans can be any color)
