Enhanced cd

Hi! So I was wondering if I want to play an enhanced cd from 2015 should I use Windows 98? I have seen that usually you play enhanced cd with older software but the cd is from 2015 however does modern Windows support enhanced cd? Which Windows will be able to play the cd instantly (the enhanced cd so the bonus content) with no extra hassle?

If I'm not mistaken XP worked with auto run for enhanced cds. I haven't really used them since then.

afaik all Windows versions still have CD drivers, I can read every CD/DVD I have on my portable reader

yup it should work...just need to hope that the content links are still valid. I had an old rolling stones CD with extra content and the links were to unreleased live content. these days if the links are dead you can normally get the info via Google/Youtube with a search.

well I will give it a try and if it's a link that doesn't exist anymore I will just use wayback machine or search google although would prefer to see my bonus content the proper way, it's a better experience.

yup it worked with Windows 11. Thanks! There was an option 'Run Enhanced Content' when I right-clicked
