Hi,

I have an issue and I'm out of ideas. My pc randomly deadlock when gaming, I have to reset every time. Total freeze of both screens, the last sound played continues for some time (once I had a video on the background and I had sound for 3-4 minutes), keyboard/mouse are unresponsive, rgb work but can't change, can't activate numlock and if I unplug something I can't get it back if I replug. There is no error message, nothing in event viewer neither.

It happen in any game, even small indie, but only in games, never happened doing something else so far. My cpu, gpu and psu are "new", but it started more than a month after the parts changes (1 and half month after the cpu, 3 months after gpu/psu). The only things I change in my setup after was my storage drive (1 week before) and my monitor (same day, but that seems so weird to be the culprit, and I can't find similar problem caused by a monitor online). The issue is totally random, when it started in early december it happened 14 time in 3 days, then 1-2 time a day. After testing pretty much everything I got it to stop for 2 month, but without changing anything its back now, 1 to 2 time each day again. Last time the only thing that changed something was lowering the frame rate of the new monitor from 240 to 120.

List of what I did so far, not in order : Multiple heavy benchmark/stress test (cinebench, timespy, 1H+ prime 95 and furmark together, everything work as intended here no overheating either), chkdsk, looked at crystaldiskinfo, checked all physical connection and changed an old sata cable, removed the new harddrive, disabled all overclock, underclocked the gpu, disabled the unused igpu, reenabled it with my second monitor on it, random software change like power plan or disabled freesync, reinstalled windows after formating the ssd, changed the ram, updated bios and gpu drivers. I probably missed some randomm shot in the dark but nothing actually fixed the issue.

At first I thought the problem was a faulty harddrive, since that was the last internal component I changed it would have be logical, but it also happen without so... Since its random, it sometime happen 15 min after starting the pc, sometime 10h+ after, its hard to swap component, and since everything seems to work fine in benchmark... At that point I think its either a weird software issue or a failing component working perfectly fine 99.99% of the time, but I have no idea how to find the problem. I can't really buy basicly a whole new computer and swap components 1 by 1, especially if the issue can stop for 2 month lol .

Or its really the monitor, but is it even possible? It would make sense with the timeline, but how?
