Polychrome not detecting devices

I am running ASRock Polychrome on my ASRock B450M Steel Legend mobo and it isn't working correctly. Everything is greyed out in the app, but the lights are on. When I connect it to Razer Synapse the lights shut off. It also isn't detecting my Thermaltake ARGB fans either.

I probably forgot about this comment so quote me if you need a response.

this will fix your problem, fresh install followed by command line wizardry... polychrome is just really really bad at staying alive on a pc longer than 5 months.

Ok now my stuff isn't greyed out, but I still can only change the animation and speed, and not the color. It just keeps using unicorn barf when I select a different color. It also detects my fans, but it's not changing them. The fans are still doing their own thing.
