Motherboard Replacement

I am looking to upgrade my current motherboard which is Dell 0XR1GT A00 Desktop inside a Vostro 270 (from msinfo32) and my main concern is finding something that is the same size. I'm not the most experienced with physical upgrades so I need some help determining what motherboards would be the same size so I can avoid buying a new case.

 

My current price ceiling is 250 USD. It doesn't need to be the cutting edge an i5 should be fine, just looking for the best possible upgrade within my price range

If this is what your motherboard looks like then you need a MATX motherboard.

This is just a normal mATX motherboard. Any mATX motherboard will fit in the case.

Are you married to the case/Dell? If not, change everything up. Will most likely be more affordable in the future too.

I'm assuming you mean motherboard, memory and CPU at that rate.  Isn't the Vostrol 270 from 10 Intel CPU generations ago? LGA 1155 I think with 3rd gen.
