why is it that every time i randomly turn my pc on my fps gets worse.

for excample my pc works fine for like 1 month than one day i turn it on and i get much lower fps.

from 250 fps on csgo to 40 fps.

then after i do random stuff like switching some settings around updateing my drivers/bios i get normal fps.

what causes this.

i have a 1060 6gb

a ryzen 5 2600

16gb of ram

2 ssds and a hdd

is it every time or randomly?

You should keep your drivers up to date anyway.

Maybe some stuff updating in the background, or a program you have automatically changing the settings back?

its randomly it can happen in a month or in a week if i dont do anything after sometime i goes back to normal

like my cpu is used instead of the gpu

it is not like that.

If there's a windows update running in the background using most of your CPU, RAM, and/or storage bandwidth; it'll reduce your performance a lot.

or if you have an antivirus program it'll do that sometimes too.

It doesn't sound like anything is wrong if it goes back to normal when you update your drivers.

could it be that my gpu is overclocked because i have a prebuild and i never looked into it

Probably not. But since it is a prebuilt you might be able to get support from wherever you bought it.

An bad overclock wouldn't really exhibit that kind of behavior.
