Looks pretty good to me. I have the Corsair 5000x, and if you want lower temps, I would recommend getting an Airflow instead. I would also suggest adding more fans, as the 7700X runs relatively hot. Cooler is always better (even -0, with precautions).

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

Looks good!  I would go for some 5600mhz CL36 ram instead, faster speed and lower timings.  Also check that the memory you pick is listed on the motherboard QVL's ( memory compatability )  website. Here is that link. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B650-AORUS-ELITE-AX-rev-1x/support#support-memsup
Also check that the ram height does not hit the front fan on the Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler you want.  The cooler has a clearance of 46.8mm for the RAM from the heatsink without the front fan. With a fan this clearance is 40mm.  The NH-D15 has smaller fan mounts on the heatsink itself so its easier to move to make ram cleareance if the case allows for it, the dark rock pro 4 fan mounts are very wide so its difficult to move the fan to make room for ram.

I am running a 7700x with a Noctua NH-D15 and my temperatures are quite good with 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust, Around 65-75c while gaming at 144fps++.

Other than that I'd just say: Have fun gaming! 🙂

Please note that Asus doesn't test every RAM out there. When my son and I got Asus mobos in September, the Patriot Viper Steel RAM choices I made for us were not listed on the QVL, and they couldn't say for sure if they'd work right, but they work fine. Mobo makers really cannot test everything for the QVL - imagine how many thousands of CPUs, GCs, RAM, SSDs, HDDs, air coolers, AIOs, etc....They would go bankrupt unless the manufacturers sent them free ones of EVERYTHING.

30 or so years ago, I built an AMD system with a Gigabyte mobo. By the time I got it, it had been delisted by AMD as compatible. Boy, was I pissed! I had worked so hard to find a great setup! It took many, many hours to figure out the workaround to get them to work together...Then it was fine. Until I took it to Indonesia...I watched from the plane as the airline baggage handler picked up the box and DROP it onto the conveyor belt. It never worked right after that. 😢

And theres 400$ saved

the case isnt a hotbox since its a mesh case

Went intel cause cheaper

Dont worry about the rams not working at 4600 since theres a fallback 3600 xmp, theyre intended for maxing out gear 1 (4000-4200) whenever you wanna try tuning them (which is a fairly easy process for mild clockspeeds <4400), and theyre dual rank djr so already 20% ish extra bandwidth vs normal single rank 32gb kits
