I keep having this problem where in task manager it is saying i am using 4gb of ram when nothing is open, under users it says im using only 400mb but in performance it says 4gb is being used. In resource monitor when i sort by commit there is nothing on there that could possibly add up to 4gb. When i start playing a game that uses a lot of ram (KSP, BF4, Planetside 2) it skyrockets to 7.5gb and everything starts crashing.

I have looked into some other forum posts none of which have helped, so i was wondering if any of you know what the problem could be? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstalled AVG and replaced it with malwarebytes, seems to have cleared up the problem.
