CPU TEMPS

Just built a new build and the 7600x Is going to 95C at max temps is that normal? The motherboard is b650 Aororas pro ax a 6950xt and ddr5 6000mhz ram. The cooler is the Thermalright peerless assassin 120.

I bought the same cooler after my 5600x ran at 94 degrees while playing Escape From Tarkov.  The cooler you have dropped my peak temp to 67 degrees.

 

Daft question, but you did use thermal paste? and did you not go overboard with it?

 

Also make sure you have the fans pointing in the right direction, both front to back, one at the front and one between the heatsinks. (not at the back like I did at first).

Its normal for 7000 series , designed to boost like a gpu to max boost clock up to 95c.Nothing wrong there.

you could try and reapply the thermal paste and remount the cooler. its entirely possible that its just a bad mount, i recently had to remove my 5800x3d and my temps went up like 3 degrees from my normal so i think my mount is bad.

 

another option is to try and set up a curve optimizer. i have one running -30 all core and it dropped my temps from 90c under load to 82c
