I have recently got Zotac gtx1070 amp extreme for free from a guy that has been mining cripto. It works, but I need to change one of the fans because it is making a really wierd noise and I will change the thermal paste and thermal pads.

My questions are:

Which thermal pad thickness shuold I get?

It is only displaying video when it gets to windows and the drivers load, so does anyone know how to make it to display bios?

It is making this really wierd hissing sound when it is under load, it is not coming from the fans, I think that it is coming from the PCIe slot, does anyone know what that sound is?

My cpu and motherboard are: i5 12600k and asus tuf gaming h670-pro wifi d4

Probably don't need to change the pads, but you can check when you open it up.

Not outputting before Windows not so sure about. Try a different connection method? (DP, HDMI). Any idea if it might have a custom (mining) bios installed? If so, then identifying and restoring a gaming bios might help.

When I connect it over hdmi it displays bios, I do not know if it has mining bios.

When I take a look at the thermal pads they look very dirty, should I clean them or what (the whole gpu is very dusty so I will clean it with a can of compresed air).
