RGB Randomly stopped working

BrokenRGB

Hello,

Two days ago, my RGB just decided to stop working for the front fans and cooler. It has always worked but after booting one day, it did not turn back on. It works for my RTX3070 GFX card but the coolant pump and front fans all do not work. The fans are spinning but no RGB. If it matters at all, when I turn my computer on, I see the lights turn on for a flicker of a second but then nothing...

I went into Gigabyte's BIOS to change the settings of RGB Fusion and it does not even detect the RGB fans or pump any more. I can still adjust the fan speeds though. Here is what I have done to fix the problem so far:

-I have also double checked all wires and they are all connected and all connectors look to be in good shape.

-I have deleted RGB Fusion and redownloaded

-I downloaded Gigabyte center (eventually deleted)

-Downloaded OpenRGB (this did not pick them up either)

-Cleaned my PC of all dust (did this since I had it open already to check connections)

-Turned off and on my computer

-Deleted Vanguard/Riot client and all games associated (read somewhere that this may be it?)

-Updated ALL drivers

It is just so strange that they all poop out at once. I am at a bit of a lose here and am looking for any advice.

Thanks!!

Computer Specs: I have attached a screen shot of HWinfo

I was checking for bios updates for your board, but on Gigabytes website there's only the Revision 1.2 of a board with that name and the only bios is FB.

Your board is an older revision or HWInfo shows incorrect data. Then I remembered reading about custom boards for system builders like CyberPowerPC and thus I googled.

The thing is, even CyberPowerPC shows the Rev 1.2 and not an older one.

After further research...

http://www.cyberpowerinc.com/drivers/?sort_by=mod&sort_as=asc&dir=Motherboards/BIOS/Gigabyte/

There you have the bios F4b which is a lot newer.

Flash it. 🙂
