preparing for bios flash, inquiry

Do I need to load defaults on my bios and undo the OC on my CPU before bios flash?

I7-6700k, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, 2 x 8GB Corsair Dominator Plantinum ram, ASUS GTX 960 STRIX, sound blaster zx, 1TB boot drive ssd, 128GB/256GB storage ssd, 1TB storage HDD, 4TB of storage (backup),Windows 10 Pro,1000w psu

No, but your OC settings will go to default after you flash.

 

Come to think of it, I reset my BIOS to default when I flashed. Reset before you flash.

I would write down your settings just to be safe.

If I restored the backed up bios that has the OC info, would the OC be restored?
