Low FPS/Bad Performance

Hello, so that’s a problem I have since quiet some time.

When I play LoL I only

get around 80-130fps even after I upgraded my PC.

New:

R9 3950x

2080ti

32GB RAM

 

Old:

i7 8086k

1080ti

32GB RAM

 

i just don’t understand how I get that low fps doesn’t matter which game I always get low fps even lower than friends with a worse PC. 
Is something not working correctly?

Here's news for you.

A Ryzen 5 3600X and the Intel i7 8700K feature roughly the same performance per core, and they have the same ammount of cores.

A Ryzen 9 3950X is, in the games that can sue only 6 cores or fewer, the same as an i7 8700K. And the i7 8086 is just a binned 8700K.

You replaced your platform but, as far as LoL is concerned, stayed with the same performing CPU. And it's not just LOL, it's any game that doesn't use more than 6 cores.

And if you're playing on 1080p, the 2080Ti is bottlenecked, so there's no wonder it doesn't outperform a 1080Ti which wasn't bottlenecked as much.

What yopu can do is - play on 4K or at least 1440p.
