I currently have a x470 Auroras Ultra Gaming with a 2600x and a 2060. Thinking of upgrading my PC for a 1440p to 4k gaming with streaming in mind. I have 2 options of either 5800x3d with a 6950xt or a 13600k with 6950xt. I am trying to get the least so I was thinking I can use the same motherboard I currently have but have no clue. 

 

PC SPECS:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x

GPU: RTX 2060 XC Ultra

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengance LPX DDR4 2400

MotherBoard: Gigabyte X470 Ultra Gaming

PSU; EVGA SuperNova 850W G2

COOLER: Noctua nh-u14s

5800X3D is still on par for gaming, but a 3080 or 4070Ti may be better for streaming if it doesn't cost much more than the 6950XT.

It is currently $750. Are you saying because of the encoder?

Yes, just for NVENC. AMD's encoder still takes quite a performance hit when streaming IIRC.

You'll need a BIOS update, but otherwise yes.
