Quick question, i have a rig that i am using a virtualization server AMD 5900X, Asus ROG B450-F Gaming II, 4x16Gb Crucial 2400Mhz DDR4, 2xTesla Gpus, an LSI HBA and a bunch of storage(mix of ssd and hdd)... Running Proxmox 7.2.    I have been upgrading individual components over the course of the last couple of years as my needs evolve which is why the component pairing is a bit of an odd mix.

I want to upgrade the memory, because 1) think the 2400Mhz is more than likely bottlenecking  my performance and 2) because i would like to use the current ram for a different project.  I was looking for a 2x32GB 3600Mhz kit. I know i should buy something from the QVL list, but there is nothing i can find in 2x32GB configuration. Looking at amazon/newegg, there are a few 2x32GB kits available for around $230CAD (+/- $10). A few from Patriot (viper steel, viper blackout)  there is some t-force vulkan, corsair LPX, GSkill if i stretch the budget..  They all seem to be CL16 for 3200Mhz or Cl18 for 3600Mhz with similar timings...

Does anyone have a recommendations on what kit to buy/avoid? Do i go for 3200Mhz or 3600Mhz?

THe CPU you currently have only supports up to 3200, so anything else is wasted.

Thanks for the comment!   I've been running a 3600Mhz kit in my gaming PC (5600X) but if forgot that anything above 3200Mhz is sort of considered oveclocking.  While my kit runs fine with my 5600X, it does not seem to want to post at 3600Mhz with the 5900X.  Sort of disappointing, but at least i can focus on the 3200Mhz kits...
