I told myself I’d never become an “RGB GAMER KEKW NERD”…and yet here I am.

 

Case: Thermaltake View 51

Fans (push/pull): Thermaltake something or other…the controllers aren’t compatible with my motherboard, so the exhaust at the top is perpetually cycling RGB but whatever

Motherboard: MSI B450M Pro M2-Max

CPU: Ryzen 3 3300x

RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengence Black 3600Mhz (2x8gb dual channel)

GPU: Asus Strix RTX 2080ti Gaming OC 11GB (middle fan motor is dead, new assembly coming shortly…optical fiber RGB diffuser is opaque, also replacing soon)

PSU: GameMax RGB 600w (replacing shortly)

Monitor: HP 27m 1080p/60hz (custom resolution at 1440p/76hz)

Keyboard: something from NPET…

Mouse: Logitech G305 Wireless

Mousepad: some ONN RGB thing from Walmart I think

 

So yeah, purple because it looks the best…never got out of my ”dark” faze, I guess. This case is FAR bigger than I thought it was gonna be, it's obscene haha, but it was a good price on FB and came with more fans than I know what to do with (or can even control). Thermals overall aren't great but are managed by locking fps in games and lowered power limits (a good thing considering the PSU quality anyway.) It's a really long story how this system came to be, but I made some incredible friends in building this beast. When the final repairs/replacements are done, my dream still has a large upgrade path ahead of it...but for now, it'll do...it'll do.

Thanks! I did clean it after the first pic...its used and a little caked up. I've got some cable management to clean up as well.

with the rest of the case, id put some fun stuff in, like if ur into skateboarding u could put a tecdeck in there probably with all the space u have, be creative and decorate it like a damn christmas tree designed by a gamer!!

at some point if I haven't dowgraded the case (I'd really like a MUCH smaller setup) I'm going to hardline cool this thing as I've found a good deal on a 5600x locally. That's a project for another day, but I will have to get some dragons to fit as well as a PCIE Rizer to vertical mount the GPU and fill the space. Thanks for the idea!
