Graphics Card power

AFAIK, the 12V cables all connect to a single 12V rail on that PSU, so you'll be fine with running the GPU off of one cable. My guess is also that they wouldn't make a cable with 2 connectors on one end if you're only allowed to use one. I run my R9 290 off a single cable as well.

I've just bought a new power supply (it was needed to power my r9 280x)

 

Its a semi modular corsair cx 750M

 

Its got some cables in it, the one is question, one end plugs into an 8pin socket on the supply, on the other end it has 2 6pin +2 connectors, would it be safe to run the graphics card's 8pin connector and 6pin connector off the same cable or should I use the second one supplied, the fewer cables I use the better my system will look inside. 

 

 

The cable ends in question are shown in the picture attached
