Windows maximizing themselves

Hello

 

I am using Windows 10 and I noticed that sometimes when I drag from the top of the Steam app to minimize it, it just moves the window (it does minimize but it is set to the same size as the whole monitor).

This only seems to happen when I maximize the Steam window, then I exit Steam completely and reopen it.

 

It also happens sometimes with Google Chrome and it is annoying because I want the window to occupy less space on my monitor.

 

I am running:

Edition    Windows 10 Pro
Version    21H2
Installed on    ‎28/‎03/‎2022
OS build    19044.2486
Experience    Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0

 

Has anyone had this issue before? Do you have any idea how to prevent it?
