Budget (including currency): Roughly $500 US dollars can go to $550 if that changes anything.

Country: The US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly low Intensity games like Valorant or Minecraft, I do not stream this will just be for gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I do not need any peripherals, and I can wait to buy a pc or save up more for a higher quality setup. Also should I get a CPU with onboard graphics and stay on the lookout for a good GPU?

Personally I'd wait if you can to see if you can save up a bit more, imo around 700 dollars gets you a really nice 1080p machine, as for the changes to your list, if probably do something like this.

Main change would be ram. Having dual channel will drastically improve performance over single channel for not that much more at all

I was able to come up with this... It's a bit different than the other post but it works and it's a bit cheaper. It has a big upgrade path for the CPU & GPU because of the Z590 Motherboard.

Right idea, though you'll want to go with the 12100F and a B660/Z690.

The upgradeable 10th gen Intel chips are barely an upgrade over the 5th gen Ryzen 5 chips, so your upgrade path is nonexistent.

12th gen is a large performance boost, and the B series boards can technically overclock (though the returns with 12th gen have not been diminishing vs previous gens anyway.)

Perhaps somehing like:

The RX580 has been a trusty card for some time now, but it is falling behind. Your best course might actually just be to get a decent used prebuilt and invest in a solid GPU at this point.
