Acoustic Noise Mitigation and Slew Rate settings

I recently got a new motherboard, the Gigabyte Z790 UD AC, and I am hearing a fairly annoying amount of coil whine. It goes in and out making it worse than just a constant noise. I was hoping the Acoustic Noise Mitigation setting in my bios could help but there are 2 slew rate settings and I want to know what they do before I enable anything. They both go from 2x-16x. If anyone can inform me that would be great.

I can definitely confirm that it has impact on sound coming from motherboard.

I tried several different setup and it makes the coil whine much smaller, almost unhearable.
But I never found if it has some disadvantages or side impact.

But I tried to run 3D Mark before and after and it has no impact on the score.

Which setting did you set it to? I tried x8 and x16 and the coil whine didn't seem to get any better. Wondering if I should try x2 or x4. I have heard disabling C states might help but at this point I'm not sure.

I used x8 and it is much better in my case, not ideal. But In normal office like working in windows it is no hearable. Under heavy load it is worse, but also not all the time.
