Hello, my laptop has only 8 gb 3200 mhz memory stick on it. I want to upgrade it with another 8 gb memory but i have an issue with finding the correct one.

This is link to my current memory: https://www.mouser.com.tr/ProductDetail/Micron/MTA8ATF1G64HZ-3G2R1?qs=pUKx8fyJudCUDrjOfcEuAw%3D%3D

The deal here is i can't find the same memory in my country (Turkey) and i don't know if another stick with the different specs goes well with the current one. Finding an offer from foreign markets will be my last option.

Hi there,

It is *not* mandatory to find the exact model of the DIMM you already have installed, it's just the better practice to avoid incompatiblities or instability in the future. But in general you can install different models of RAM and it should work just fine. Just make sure they have the same speed and timings to be as certain as possible that they can work together.
