silver thermal paste

Im going to buy artic silver 5 high density... but some peoples said that it is conductive and may kill your pc. I would not put so much on cpu but do you think that it is okay? 12600k, pa120se 265tdp air cooler. also that thermal paste is the only cheap option that I can buy right now so it is not expensive or something like that (12C$)

I've used Arctic Silver 5 in multiple systems, it's good paste. I wouldn't avoid it or anything, it's never killed anything I've used it on. Only reason I've stopped using it is my tube ran out and it was cheaper to get MX-4 instead. 

 

That said, I also don't really see a reason to use it over the stuff that comes with the PA120. That paste performs within 1-2C of Arctic silver, effectively the same temperature. It's just $12 that you'd be spending for basically no gain.

I used it one time and I dont know that if there is anymore left in tube. is that paste one for one time or more?

Arctic Silver 5?  It's not conductive. From their website:

It’s safe to use. I used to use it on bare dies back in the day when I was new. AS5 is still a decent TIM. Heck I am using Ceramique on my X3D and getting excellent performance.
