Budget (including currency): $600ish

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Esports games, some older triple A titles

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc)

Hello all, I am entering the world of pc building as a complete noob so I would appreciate your input. This is my current rough build. It will be used for gaming mostly as well as general web browsing (netfilx, spotify, etc.). I was planning on getting some stuff used and waiting for sales as this is more of a fun side project the a necessity since I have a loptop. Any input would be rad, especially gpu related as i was going to go for ebay for that. Thanks!

looks great. I believe that you should be able to fit a titan rtx or 3050 in there and would recommend doing so because of the crashing problems with amd. also try to (if possible and not sacrificing too much) go with a new gpu, or a used one within its warranty period.

I hope OP has not purchased the parts yet.

RTX 3050 or Titan RTX is such a bad advise, not only they have terrible value for what you pay, RTX 3050 is so much worse than RX 6600.

I have RX 6800XT, not complaint whatsoever, what AMD crashing?

Used RAM is fine as long as they come in sets, mix matching RAM is not a good idea.

OP, 970 EVO is not a good value SSD, you'd be better off with Kingston NV2 1TB, which is much cheaper than 970 EVO.

Get better case and PSU, they are both low quality.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I'm going to go RX 6700 XT. Any recommendations for PSU?

If you swapped out the 970 evo with NV2, you have additional budget for a high quality PSU, in which case, I'd suggest https://pcpartpicker.com/product/zDMTwP/thermaltake-toughpower-gf1-pe-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ps-tpd-0650fnfagu-1
